Dr. Akshat Sharma is a Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgeon with advanced training from the prestigious Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (RPC), AIIMS, New Delhi. He completed his MBBS from Sarojini Naidu Medical College (SNMC), Agra, followed by MD in Ophthalmology from AIIMS, New Delhi, and further earned the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Ophthalmology. He is currently a consultant Cataract, Cornea and Refractive Surgeon at AcuraVision Clinics pvt ltd, where he is refining his expertise in complex anterior segment disorders.

Dr. Akshat Sharma has a special interest in corneal diseases, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, keratoconus, ocular surface disorders and corneal transplantation. His clinical interests include modern cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, laser vision correction, corneal cross-linking and management of infectious keratitis.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Akshat Sharma is actively involved in ophthalmic research and academics. His research interests include negative dysphotopsia, intraocular lens optics and aberration free lenticule surgery.
